Will is a composer for film, television, documentary and other media from London, UK.

He began his career writing for student theatre whilst doing his undergraduate in Exeter, where he won an extra-curricular scholarship in composition, after which he embarked on a freelance composer career. Eventually, he co-founded Shibui Music with long-time friend and collaborator, Simon Whitehead, writing music for commercials, with agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Karmarama, VCCP and Mother.

Will won a place at The Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he was awarded a two year masters in Electronic & Produced Music, achieving double distinction, honing his knowledge & craft and training under artists like recent Ivor Novello winner, Raven Bush (Speaker’s Corner Quartet).
During his time here, he wrote and performed his debut work Eudaimonia: an electro-acoustic work for ten piece string orchestra, percussion, live electronics and projected visual media, which responded to the ebb and flow of the natural world versus exponential human growth, reflecting on the climate crisis we now face.

As well as being a versatile composer, with an innate understanding of drama, and who can turn his hand to many styles, Will has strong artistic vision and in his upcoming LP, Fragments of Memory, he employs folk, classical and electronic music elements with experimental tape techniques to create an impression of memory.
